A few quick tips to help you lose the bodyfat….

Write it down on paper! : Know what you are eating and how much. Fat loss is like a math equation and if you don’t know what you are currently taking in then you will not know what to add or subtract. People lose weight at the beginning of a diet from just getting rid of the junk they eat but sustained fat loss requires more effort and a better understanding of what you are putting in your body. You will find that after you do this for a while you will become aware of where your efforts have failed and understand the contents (how many calories, percentage of macronutrients, etc.) of the foods you eat.

Know your calories and macronutrients! : I think everyone knows that if you take in more calories than you burn you will not lose fat but instead gain. I think most people don’t realize the importance of understanding the percentage that each macronutrient (protein, carbs, fat) makes up in their diet. Do you really think you can eat doughnuts and other sugary carbs all day as long as you stay under your calorie limit?! Macronutrients are protein, carbs, and fat. Protein comes first. You need to have a protein source at each meal to increase satiety and maintain muscle (which is metabolism).Take in good fats and High quality carbs (with a large percentage of fiber) to meet the rest of your calorie needs.
